Melding influences from across the bandwidth
of rock, from the Who to Radiohead to Built
to Spill, The False Heroics create a rumbling
barrage of melodies, charging riffs and melting
interludes.
Since his days growing up in
the crowded cities and jungle villages of Bangladesh,
Adam King (vocals/guitar) has been writing songs.
Moving back to Canada near the end of high school,
Adam began to create music with friends Jared
Korstanje (bass/vocals), Mike Nicholson (guitars/vocals),
and Jon Grime (drums). After playing and writing
together for 2 years, they embarked on their
journey as The False Heroics in mid 2003.
First stop was the release of their debut EP
"Stars Gone Black," (2003, Pure Nard)
which along with their live show has been garnering
them underground fans across Ontario, and CD
orders from far away as Spain and Holland.
