Just saw this tonight, it was alright. Totally not what I expected, it had a more serious tone then I thought it was going to be. Very minimalist in everyaspect. Had an interesting story though. i'm gonna have to watch it again to get everything. Some boring parts where it was just meandering between characters. I'll have to watch it again.

It was a great movie though a little redneck. I really want a high pressure air tank that I can open doors with. _________________ MIDAS

Lots of cool music references to early 90's rock. _________________ I have questioned God sometimes when prayers have gone unanswered, but answered prayer is still harder to believe.

i'm gonna tell you to see "eastern promises"... sick mafia movie, the blood is awesome... the bathroom scene will go down in history... and it's probably the best canadian film ever made... (next to... "a strange brew" of course) _________________ Tim Hortons Roll up Score 2008

Eastern promises was a great movie. I can understand very basic russian so it made way more sense.
The Kingdom was a great movie too.
I haven't seen JUNO but it looks like another coming of age drama. I could be wrong but isn't it a teen baby movie. If I want to see one of those I'll just turn on showcase or goto downtown Brantford. _________________ MIDAS

Hi,
I thought it was an excellent film. Very suspenseful and well-made. Javier Bard em's performance was terrifying. As for the main theme of the film, I believe Roger Ebert put it best: "the movie demonstrates how pitiful ordinary human feelings are in the face of implacable injustice. |
